Large composite structures require larger and larger tools..  The advantages of carbon matrix systems apply to tooling as long as the tools can be built to sustain the fabrication environment.  HexTOOL™ has been developed as a machinable lower cost method to build lightweight, stable and less energy consuming, 350°F/180°C tools.  Tools built from HexTOOL™ have exhibited machined metal dimensional tolerances and are much lighter.

Adhesives are available to bond complexities of contour and to other material used in conjunction with HexTOOL™.  These adhesives are designed with the same chemistry to withstand continuous        350°F/180°C cure cycles.
