DUXFORD, UK, December 10, 2008 - Hexcel Corporation (NYSE: HXL) announced today that its previously disclosed new facility for providing prepreg materials to the U.S. wind energy industry will be located in the Great Western Industrial Park in Windsor, Colorado. The new plant will manufacture HexPly® epoxy resin prepregs in a specially designed leased facility that is located close to a major customer’s wind turbine blade fabrication site. Hexcel expects production to begin at the new plant in the second half of 2009.
