Hexcel is a specialist in resin formulation and fibre-reinforcement technologies.  The two complementary technologies come together in our prepreg range to provide fibre-reinforced composites which when cured provide supreme stiffness and strength at lower weights than traditional materials of equivalent properties.

We have developed a wide range of epoxy systems for aerospace and industrial prepregs.  Our epoxy range is complemented by bismaleimides (BMI), phenolics and cyanate esters applications.

Hexcel has more recently developed other Fiber-Reinforced Matrix technologies, including liquid resins for Resin Transfer Molding and resins in film form for Resin Film Infusion.
