Temperatures range between an average high of 66 degrees F in January, the coolest month of the year, to an average high of 106 degree F in July, the warmest month of the year. Hexcel's plant in Casa Grande was established in 1965.  Occupying 205,000 sq. ft, the plant operates 24 hours a day, five days a week and employs around 400 people on a three shift system in production, marketing, management and clerical roles.

Products manufactured in Casa Grande are primarily for the commercial aerospace, military aerospace and automotive industries, including HexWeb® honeycomb, Hexlite® and Fibrelam® sandwich panels and Engineered Core honeycomb parts.
