worldwide facilities we manufacturer the full spectrum of advanced material
solutions — this includes everything from
structural fiber and reinforcement
fabrics to
pre-impregnated materials (or “prepregs”) and
honeycomb core to finished
aircraft structures and materials.
Today, Hexcel consumes a portion of its own fiber, fabric and composite
material production internally, with the balance sold to the various markets in
which we compete. Thus ensuring that our entire product line is exposed to
market forces spurring innovation and cost-competitive production.

engineering and polymer chemistry. R&T also performs contract research for
customers in the US and Europe. Worldwide investment in R&T is coordinated
by a committee of managers from each of Hexcel’s businesses. |
