Hexcel is the world’s largest honeycomb producer for the commercial aerospace industry, and much of it is produced at our Casa Grande plant, established in 1965 and located between Phoenix and Tucson. Casa Grande honeycomb is used in commercial aircraft structures and interiors, defense aircraft, helicopters and various industrial applications. One of the newest products made at the plant is a noise-reducing honeycomb for aircraft engines.
