Our Culture of Integrity

At Hexcel, we share a set of Values that define us. Our Hexcel Code of Business Conduct helps us put these Values into practice every day. It is our guide for how we live, act, work and lead with integrity. The Code applies to all Hexcel employees, officers and directors. Our Ethical Decision-Making Model, set out in the Code, provides guidance to all employees who are faced with an ethical dilemma or problem. 

Every Hexcel employee is responsible for upholding our Values and fully complying with the Code. We expect all employees to lead by example, to speak up when something doesn’t seem right and to help create a culture grounded in respect, accountability and ethical conduct.  We understand that how we do things is as important as what we do and take pride in achieving our goals ethically and responsibly.  Integrity is at the core of everything we do.  

Ethics & Compliance at Hexcel  

To support our employees in meeting Hexcel’s high standards of integrity set out in the Code, we provide the following comprehensive resources, training and oversight:   

  • All employees receive a copy of the Code and Code Training when they join Hexcel.  
  • Periodic refresher Code training is provided to the entire employee population. 
  • Regular training is provided, in some cases to targeted employee groups, on laws, regulations and standards affecting our global business, including workplace harassment, antitrust, anti-corruption and anti-bribery, international trade, health and safety and the environment.  
  • All salaried employees are required to certify to compliance with the Code annually. 
  • We thoroughly investigate all reports that allege a potential Code violation.  
  • Hexcel maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination or retaliation in any form. 

Speaking Up and Seeking Help  

Hexcel employees and third parties are encouraged to speak up when they witness a violation of the Code of Business Conduct through one of the available reporting channels. 

Hexcel will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a report in good faith, seeks help or takes part in an investigation.

The Hexcel SafeTalk Help Line, which is managed by an independent service provider not related to Hexcel, is free of charge to users and is confidential. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be used by all employees and third parties (depending on jurisdiction), regardless of where they live or what language they speak. The SafeTalk Help Line is accessible via phone, the internet or via mobile phone using a QR code. 

Code Amendments 

Any amendment to the Code of Business Conduct (other than technical, administrative or non-substantive amendments), or any waiver of a provision of the Code that applies to Hexcel’s Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer or Corporate Controller, will be promptly disclosed in the Governance section of our website.
