Hexcel’s lightweight, high-strength materials are operational on over 100 platforms, including all major European & Asian trainers and fighter platforms (Rafale, Eurofighter, Grippen, Tejas, KF-21…), military transportation (A400M, C295) programs, helicopters (H160, H145, NH90, AW249, AW139, ALH, LCH…), missiles and drones with many customers such as Kongsberg, MBDA …

Present on all major space launcher legacy programs (Ariane, Vega …) as well as new space (ISAR, PLD, Skyroot, Beyond Gravity) development and satellite programs (Amazon LEO Kuiper) especially for Indian markets.

Hexcel maintains a fully localized, vertically integrated supply chain within Europe. By monitoring end-to-end control, from the initial chemical stages to the manufacturing of finished carbon fiber structures, Hexcel guarantees continuity of service to its customers. This self-reliance is pivotal to safeguarding the industrial and technological independence of European nations and their allies in a changing world.

Through its production sites in France and Europe,Hexcel ensures a seamless and autonomous industrial flow on European soil, immune to geopolitical trade tensions or global shortages. This regional self-sufficiency is vital for strategic programs, as it is not subject to foreign export restrictions such as US ITAR and secures European defense industrial capability in the long term.

Hexcel delivers state-of-the-art cutting-edge composite technologies, meeting the demand for ever-lighter and stronger materials. Through innovative solutions, including carbon fiber, honeycombs, matrix systems, and complex engineered structures, Hexcel provides the strength, thermal stability, and micro-cracking resistance required for defense applications.

Hexcel’s composite solutions are combat proven on over 100 platforms, including key European programs where they optimize payload, extend flight range, and reduce lifecycle maintenance costs. The uncompromising reliability of Hexcel’s composites is essential to ensuring a decisive advantage in all domains and environments – even the most extreme.

The LR2M Carbon Drone Airframe will be presented at the stand developed by AERONEFS SERVICES with COMPOSITE DISTRIBUTIONS. It uses HexPly® Carbon Epoxy Prepreg to achieve a lightweight, durable, and easily processed structure. Designed for next‑generation UAVs, it delivers strong structural performance and reliable operation in demanding environments.

This demonstrator highlights how Hexcel advanced composites accelerate drone manufacturing while enabling scalable, mission‑ready platforms for defense and industrial applications.

At the show, we will showcase a selection of Hexcel’s most advanced composite solutions, highlighting their performance, versatility, and relevance for Aerospace and Defense applications. HexShape™, our innovative textile technology for complex 3D geometries, enables streamlined manufacturing through net‑shape woven fabrics offering continuous‑fiber architecture, multi‑fiber design flexibility, and excellent dimensional stability—fully compatible with infusion, RTM, and prepreg processes.

We will also present the HF640F‑2 fast‑cure resin system through a full‑scale tail rotor demonstrator developed with Airbus Helicopters under the CORAC “Chanel” program, featuring a 15‑minute injection and cure cycle at 180 °C and delivering exceptional high‑temperature performance (Tg > 180 °C).

In addition, our high‑throughput aerospace‑grade towpreg, combining HexPly® M901‑1 resin with HexTow® IMA‑24K fiber, demonstrates the potential for automated, high‑rate deposition in Aerospace, and Defense structures.

Finally, Abladur® 97, our thermal‑protection composite for missile launcher systems, illustrates how Hexcel materials provide both structural reinforcement and robust thermal shielding in extreme operational environments.
