Burlington is located in Skagit County, in the northwest corner of Washington State between Seattle and Vancouver. Established in 1990, Hexcel's Burlington plant manufactures engineered core components from metallic and non-metallic honeycomb. Customers are offered a broad range of capabilities in HexWeb® honeycomb processing. These include 5-axis NC Machining, sawing, slotting, chamfering, simple and complex core forming, splicing, stabilizing, potting, bonding and curing.
Key applications for products made at Hexcel's Burlington plant are commercial and defense aircraft, helicopters and aero-engines, as well as industrial parts. In recent years, there has been new growth and work opportunities for complex machined honeycomb parts for new generation aircraft.
