Arlington, VA and Stamford, CT — July 31, 2026 — The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Hexcel Corporation (NYSE: HXL) today announced the appointment of Imad Atallah, Vice President of Product Management and Commercial Growth, Americas & Global Fibers at Hexcel, to the ACMA Board of Directors.
Atallah brings more than 30 years of experience in aerospace and advanced materials, with leadership roles spanning product management, engineering, and business strategy. In his current role at Hexcel, he leads the Commercial Aerospace Growth Customer Business Team and product management for Hexcel’s carbon fibers, reinforcements and matrix portfolio while also – core technologies enabling next-generation aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.
As a member of the ACMA Board, Atallah will contribute to advancing the association’s strategic priorities, including expanding the adoption of composite materials, strengthening industry advocacy, and supporting workforce development across the composites value chain.
